Our Epoxy Flooring Installation Process
Solid Color Epoxy
3–4 DAY PROCESS
Step 1 – Grind & Prep Concrete (Day 1)
Step 2 – First Coat Application (Day 1)
• MVB / Primer coat with pigment
Step 3 – Second Coat Application (Day 2)
• Pigmented epoxy base coat is applied
Step 4 – Top Coat Application (Day 3)
• Final coat
• Protective top coat, either:
– Polyaspartic for high-gloss finish or
– Urethane for a satin or matte finish
Epoxy Flake Flooring
2–3 DAY PROCESS
Step 1 – Grind & Prep Concrete (Day 1)
Step 2 – First Coat of Epoxy (Day 1)
• Can be either a coat of MVB (moisture vapor barrier)
• If MVB is not needed, first coat will be epoxy
Step 3 – Flake Chips Application (Day 1)
• Flakes can be applied at full broadcast or half broadcast
• Full broadcast will cover the entire floor; half broadcast will lightly cover the surface
Step 4 – Top Coat Application (Day 2)
• Surface will be protected with final application of polyaspartic top coat
• Polyaspartic leaves a glossy, smooth finish

Step 1 – Grind & Prep Concrete (Day 1)
